About Needs Done
A local inspector with an engineer's eye.
John is a lifelong Mercer County resident and the owner and inspector behind Needs Done. He earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from Youngstown State University and understands the older homes, wet basements, steep roofs, wells, septic systems, and hard weather common to this part of Western Pennsylvania.
For the better part of a decade, John has worked as a consultant engineer, completing loss-prevention inspections of building structures, machinery and equipment, and electrical systems at industrial and commercial properties throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan, Maryland, and New York. That work requires a careful eye, practical judgment, and clear reporting.
He brings that same methodical approach to every home inspection: look closely, document what is found, separate real concerns from the noise, and explain in plain English what needs done and what can wait.
